If we listen to random sound events, we can notice they are attentive and expressive, interactive while occurring freely. They Love, they speak to one another. Ultimately these movements come from a source behind all sound- A silence that is infinitely rich in potential. This silence contains and runs through the space we are in together.
The feelings music brings can be pointers to this True Nature . With this in mind, Yogasound was an attempt to create compositionsarising from a place beyond the individual ego or personality- trying to get out of the way and be conscious of the privilege of being here, to observe with wonder as something unfolds.....
